One of World’s Largest Puzzles Ever Assembled on Display at Sanctuary’s Beacon Street Art Gallery
By Jacqueline Abner
One of the world’s largest puzzles ever assembled is on display at Sanctuary’s Beacon Street Art Gallery, located at 1351 Beacon Street, Brookline.
The 40,320 piece Ravensburger puzzle was assembled by 10 teams consisting of 2-4 people, whom over the course of several weeks worked together to complete their sections of this massive puzzle. The teams were sent sections of the puzzle, each section containing approximately 4,000 pieces. Amazingly, one team of two people completed their section in 11 days!
This project was the brainchild of David Leschinsky, owner of Eureka! Puzzles & Games
, a store located on Beacon Street in Brookline. When asked how he came up with the idea, he stated that he really just wanted to brighten everyone’s spirits and give folks something to do during a time of uncertainty for many, providing for a fun distraction. The puzzle will be on display at Sanctuary’s Beacon Street Art Gallery until October 7th.
