Salary: $47,696.00 to $58,295.00 /year

Working in a fast-paced and fluid environment, the HR Generalist will be partnering with the HR Manager to support the growth at their Sanctuary’s cultivation and retail locations throughout the US. This role is heavily focused on full cycle recruiting, on and off boarding, and training and development of new employees.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving
  • Handles all recruitment tasks for the warehouse and office location (reviews applications, interviews).
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • Conducts new-employee orientations; support in the development of the orientation.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Support the Corporate Leadership Team in ensuring that all OSHA and safety policies are followed.
  • Weekly supports in the collection of payroll needed items.
  • Reports vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling.
  • Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of Human Resource experience, ideally at a high growth company
  • Cannabis and/or Retail experience is required
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and experience
  • Computer skills: Google Docs, Word, Excel, HR database software, Applicant tracking software, PowerPoint
  • PHR or other HR certification desired, but not mandatory
